Dr. Brian Elliott is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. He is a native of the Central Valley and has been practicing in Modesto, with his father, for the past 20 years. Dr. Elliott has a particular interest in assisting patients with significantly reduced vision or low vision through the use of specialized systems. Dr. Elliott helped assemble a living skills training center here in Modesto called Visually Impaired Persons Support (VIPS). VIPS provides adaptive computer software training, independent living skills training, peer group counseling, Braille instruction, and orientation and mobility training for the visually impaired and blind residents of Stanislaus County. Dr. Elliott and his wife, Chris, are avid cyclists and enjoy the outdoors whenever possible. They are very proud of their two sons, Tyler, a middle school teacher, and Garrett is currently in optometry school.
